Acid Pro 7 All Plugins
Cambridge, MA (January 5, 2008) – iZotope, Inc., a leading developer of tools for musicians and audio professionals, has licensed several audio technologies to Sony for their recent release of ACID Pro 7 Digital Audio Workstation. The ACID Pro Effects Rack bundle includes Flanger, Phaser, Analog. ACID Pro 8 sets new standards in music editing with this one-of-a-kind. Pro Pack - Best Music Production DAW + 5Gb of Sounds & Audio Plugins for Windows. An ultra-high performance level and during all stages of your creative workflow.
I run Sony Acid Pro 7 (as 32 bit) on Windows 7 64bit. I have IK Multimedia's Amplitube series of VST plugins. I can bring up Amplitube as a VST, or Soft Synth, and use them as standalone plugins, but it does not appear in the effects folder, when I add an audio track to my project. This is bugging me, as I want to record guitar using Amplitube on Acid Pro 7. Also, Sony Acid Pro 7 can not locate Ethno 2 as a plugin! I've tried scanning all VST and other folders. Can anyone help me out please? Other than that, I love Sony Acid Pro 7! It's a virtual set of guitar amps and more. I can use it as standalone. It also appears in my VST/soft synth folder. However, If I have an audio track and I want to play my guitar through Amplitube then I need to bring it up as an effect, which one usually does by clicking on the little green effects icon in the track view.
Problem is Amplitube is not in the effects folder (where effects like Sony Express Reverb, Sony Compression etc are). So I can't play my guitar through it, like an effect. There's no point bringing Amplitube up as a soft synth in a midi track, as I can't use my guitar this way. It has to be an audio track! Lacobus, you're right in saying it can be used as a soft synth and a VST effects plugin. But it does not appear in the effetcs plugin list on the track view. Is there a way of playing my guitar through it without using it as an effects plugin?

I found this fix from someone and it worked! Launch your DAW by right clicking its icon and select 'Run as administrator'. Rescan your VST folder for new plugins. Amplitube gets loaded and the above mentioned file is created. You should be able to use the VST. Quit your DAW. Go to c: Windows with file explorer.
Find the file 'msocreg32.dat', right click it and select properties from the context menu. Go to the security tab 7. Click 'Edit'. A UAC box will appear to ask you for permission and allow it. Select the 'Users' group. Set a checkmark next to 'Modify' in the lower list.
Click twice on 'OK' to close both dialogs. Launch your DAW as you normally would. Posts: 538 Joined: Fri Apr 06, 2007 5:06 pm.
This is in reference to my other post I made earlier today on the ACID Pro Forum, I thought that you guy's may find it very interesting. Re-Acid Pro7 running with 3rd Party Plugins. With my latest findings, I think that many users of ACID Pro will also be astonished by this. As I stated in my previous Post, my favorite Plugin is Ozone 4 by iZotope, it has great Drum and Bass pre-set sounds which literally are the best I have heard. With Acid Pro 7 I was able to run two instances of Ozone 4 across 2 separate tracks, this worked OK. But when I added the plugin to a third track, Acid would splutter, snap, crackle and POP and eventually die a miserable death.
So today I did some research on the web and downloaded a trial unrestricted Demo which I am able to run for 30 Days. I found this demo to have the similar look and feel to that of ACID PRO 7. Sborochnij chertezh ventilya autocad. The first thing I did was imported my 28 Audio wave files and I wanted to also push the envelope to see if my issue was elsewhere other than ACID Pro. So I went and inserted the Ozone 4 Plugin to the Drum Tracks, then I went to pick on the 3 vocal tracks and I started to pile on the Ozone plugins as well as mix a few Waves Plugins this went on for hours and still no crash! I have now covered 28 Tracks all assigned with iZotope and Waves including a few Sony Plugins chained up in sets of around 4 to a track, yet still I wasn't able to make this program crash. I managed to prove that it was Sony Acid Pro 7 and none of my hardware. The program I am referring to is called Reaper Version 3.104 rev: 8479 As soon as I installed it, I saw frightening similarities to that of ACID Pro 7 and this kinda made me feel at home.
