Amiko has discontinued the Mini HD RE. I have been discussing this with them and they have decided it was time to move on to faster chip-sets and H.265 capable units. I can understand this. Im also in the same boat, i should receive my Mini Combo in a couple of days and have no where to start. I have already downloaded the official firmware AMIKO_MiniHD_Combo_1.2.02_conax.abs but like hasafly i am unsure as to whether or not i should install this or AMIKO_MiniHD_Combo_Galaxy_1.2.12_by Dekolte? I dont know much about these boxes, i have upgraded from a SkyBox A3 simply because of the twin tuner. Do these boxes display 7 day epg with official firmware and is that reliant on a usb memory stick inserted? What would be the benefit of having the unofficial firmware over the official if all i'll be doing is watching TV with my line information.

Dear Dekolte, In all versions after 1.1.76 the mediaplayer of amiko mini hd combo is acting bad. When the user is fast fowarding/rewinding a mkv movie, the receiver is getting restarted. Bangla movie torrent. This is not happening in 1.1.76.

After that particular version, if you use a portable HDD, the receiver is restarting soon after fast fowarding. I have tried to supply the receiver with more juice (6Amps 12V power supplier) and the receiver is still restarting after fast forwarding. So the problem seems to be the software, not the hardware. I have a few remarks for software for Amiko 8840 AMIKO_HD8840_Galaxy_1.6.25_by Dekolte.rar There is no serbian language listed in the menu, as well as, selection of subtitles and primary preffered language.

Because of that the DVB subtitle cannot be turned on automaticaly on channel change. Lates official firmware contains these options, so therfore I was forced to use original firmware only patched to support emu and mcas. Honestly, haven't tried Multi and Ultra.

Be careful with this new update. #1, they changed the channel format from ABS into UDF. This seems to break the alieditor, because when i try and load the channels from the channel backup, i get NOTHING.

These means i cannot add/edit satellites like the past, and being the new version still doesn't let you add/delete satellites, the latest firmware still falls short. 2.0.38 seems to break streaming. At least for my windows version. I suspect the android version too. On hi-def channels, it screws up within 5 minutes of watching the stream.

With 2.0.30, i have streamed for over 2 hours without incident. If you revert back, you can not retrieve your channel list from the UDF format.

Luckily i had a 2 week old backup in ABS format so when i reverted the Firmware, i was able to get my channels back (minus a few updates.). Be careful with this new update.
