I have people asking me at my rides but have no answer.

I went as far as sending Colnago the SN and they say it's legit, however that only confirms that it is a real serial number that matches the bike. Serial numbering only started for Colnago on USA-bound bikes when the CPSC started requiring tracking, etc. West Coast Cycles was importing Colnago at the time and the serial numbers started for their product.

My Tommasini is a 2 digit year and month followed by a 3 digit production number.

Looks like it, was told it was a 2002 Colnago Classic 'Rabobank' theme paint. I'll keep searching for confirmation. I noticed that the orange color is different between the 2 bikes. I also noticed my bike has a different fork on it. I wish I had the original one.
